- Qualifications : Candidate should posses a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with a Second Class in the Bachelor’s Degree or Ph.D., D.Sc., D.Litt., M.Phill and M.litt. with at least 50 % marks in Master’s Degree with a 2nd class in the Bachelor’s Degree. Provided that candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall posses a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 50% of marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd class in the Bachelor’s Degree.

Application Fee : Candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.300/-(Rupees three hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Odisha only and PH candidates, whose disability is not less than 40 % are exempted from payment of this fee. The candidates are required to take a printout of the finally submitted Online Application Form for future use and take a printout of Online Challan (Pay-in-Slip) for payment of requisite fee at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). The Fee(s) paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee(s) be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or recruitment.

Jobs Details :- Applications are invited On-line through the Proforma Application form to be made available on the Website (http://opsconline.gov.in) from 27.06.2013 to 31.07.2013 (Note: 03.08.2013 is the last date for payment of application fee) for recruitment to 281(Two hundred eighty one) posts of Lecturers in the following disciplines in (Group-A) of O.E.S. (College Branch) of Government Degree Colleges of the State under Department of Higher Education.

- Qualifications : Candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd Class in the Bachelor’s Degree. Provided that candidates belonging to the Scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes shall possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd Class in the Bachelor’s Degree. NET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with post-graduate degree, but the candidates having Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the provisions of the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 on the concerned subjects shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET.
